  1. Cookies

A cookie is a bit of information that a browser stores on your computer, smartphone or other device. We use cookie technology to confirm your access and to help analyze web traffic. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when a cookie is being installed on your computer or device. If you turn cookies off, some parts of our website may not work well or at all.

5.1. Functions for social media and widgets

Our website contain social media functions such as YouTube videos, the ‘Like’ button from Facebook and widgets such as the ‘Share this’ button or interactive mini-programs that work on our website. These functions may gather information such as your IP address and the page you have visited on our sites. A cookie may also be installed to ensure that this function works properly. Social media functions and widgets are hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our websites. Your interactions with these functions are regulated by the privacy policy of the company that has provided them.

5.2. Measuring web statistics

TSS uses Google Analytics on all its websites. This is a web analysis service offered by Google, Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘analytical cookies (small text files that are installed on your computer)’ to help analyze the use of the website. TSS can use this information to improve the quality and effectiveness of its website. Prior permission from website visitors is not required to use these analytical cookies, provided TSS satisfies the four steps as set out in the manual on privacy-friendly use of Google Analytics.

TSS completes the aforementioned four steps and informs you about this as follows:

  1. TSS has concluded a data processing agreement with Google;
  2. TSS has set up Google Analytics to be privacy-friendly, which means that the information is anonymized as much as possible. The IP address consists of four so called octets, each of which contains three numbers. TSS has chosen to mask the last octet of the Ip-address.
  3. TSS has turned off the option ‘share data with Google’ in the Google Analytics standard settings. This means that the information gathered will not be shared with Google or other parties. TSS has also not given Google permission to use the information obtained for other Google services;
  4. TSS notifies visitors to its website about the use of Google Analytics. Read more about Google Analytics.
  5. Changes

TSS reserves the right to change the information offered on or via this website, including the text of this privacy policy, without being required to make any further announcements in this regard. It is advisable to periodically check to make sure if the information offered on or via this website, including the text of this privacy policy, has been modified.
